Servants, do what you're told by your earthly masters. And don't just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. 23 Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, 24 confident that you'll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you're serving is Christ. 25 The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being Christian doesn't cover up bad work. May today be a day that you "get to" go to work and not "have to"--even if you don't particularly enjoy your current job. May you labor with this truth in mind: No matter what my job is now, if I do it faithfully unto the Lord, He will promote and reward me in eternity. God will give us our dream job!

Do your very best work knowing that God is watching and appreciates your effort. May all who work around you be able see your ethic and glorify your Father in heaven.
Father, help us to be found faithful with the work we have to do. Thank you that we live in a country where work is available and opportunities abound. Give us strength to do a good job and bring honor to your name. Help us to set our hearts upon the day when you will say, "Well done".
