My prayer

Father,

I pray that our church would overflow with the Joy of knowing You. I pray that others would be infected with our Joy and come to know You because of it. May this weekend be a celebration of that Joy!

Chris

Lord, may each of our lives reflect your love to others. May others see you in all we say and do.

May the words of our mouths and the meditations of each of our hearts be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, our rock and our Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

Father, I pray that we would love one another, even our "enemies". That we would unite together as a body in that love and share it generously. I pray that we would seek peace and unity together and that others would know you by our actions. I pray that we would be so in love with you and have so much faith in you that others would be drawn to you because of what they see in us.
Hebrews 11:1 Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, may your kingdom come and your will be done at New Community as it is in heaven. Give us at NCC today our daily bread and forgive our sins and help us to forgive others. Keep us safe and lead us not into temptation. Please deliver us from the evil one. Amen

I pray that our hearts be united and we trust in God's provisions so we can step out further in our giving. Give us faith so strong that we can't help but to give joyfully.

Lord bring us the unity within our church that reflects your glory and greatness. The unity that was the same Spirit-filled community which Your Son's sacrifice revealed as the Apostles learned to carry Christ's message from their hearts to the World. Dissolve the false walls of self and let us open our weaknesses and strengths to our God and our brothers and sisters in Christ. Stop the enemy's efforts dilute us with gossip, sin and doubt. Fill us so we all become lights bursting from beneath the baskets of worldly hindrances and shout out the joys of knowing Christ.

Lord helps us repent of our pride and disobendiance to become a church body that's wholly devoted to you.
